The International Studies Center offers Hungarian language courses in both the autumn and spring semester of each academic year. The courses are open not only for university students but anyone who is interested in studying Hungarian.
The semester program lasts from the middle of September till the middle of December (autumn semester) or the middle of February till the middle of May (spring semester). The course is twelve week long and contains 48 contact hours (48 times 45 minutes of Hungarian lessons). Courses are offered at six levels: Breakthrough (A1), Waystage (A2), Threshold (B1), Vantage (B2), Effective Operational Proficiency (C1) and Mastery (C2) Hungarian.
A semester course (48 contact hours) costs 60.000 HUF (we can offer reductions for volunteers and PTE employee, please contact Kata Pelcz).
Students may study in small groups (minimum number of 4, maximum number of 9 people per group) with the help of an experienced Hungarian as a foreign language teacher. At the end of the course students may take an exam (both written and oral) after the successful completion of which students receive an official Transcript of Records and ECTS credit points.
For further information about the levels, ECTS credit points and the tuition fee, please contact Kata Pelcz (firstname.lastname@example.org) the Hungarian Project Coordinator.
